Israeli navy says it killed senior Hamas chief Rawhi Mushtaha in a Gaza strike
The Israeli navy stated Thursday that it killed a senior Hamas chief in an airstrike within the Gaza Strip round three months in the past.
It stated {that a} strike on an underground compound in northern Gaza killed Rawhi Mushtaha and two different Hamas commanders, Sameh Siraj and Sameh Oudeh.
There was no rapid remark from Hamas.
The navy stated the three commanders had taken refuge in a fortified underground compound in northern Gaza that served as a command and management heart.
It stated Mushtaha was an in depth affiliate of Yahya Sinwar, the highest chief of Hamas who helped mastermind the Oct. 7 assault into Israel that triggered the warfare.
Sinwar is believed to be alive and in hiding inside Gaza.
