Designers of the late Princess Diana’s wedding ceremony costume settle dispute over drawings of the robe

The onetime husband and spouse staff who designed Princess Diana’s wedding ceremony costume have settled their dispute over the sale of the drawings for the robe.

David Emanuel had filed a lawsuit within the UK courts towards his ex-wife Elizabeth Emanuel, claiming that she had infringed his copyright by reproducing drawings of the designs on which that they had collaborated.

The drawings, together with these for Diana’s wedding ceremony costume, had been put up for public sale with out his consent, he mentioned.

The pair introduced Friday that that they had settled the case “amicably.” Phrases of the settlement weren’t launched.

Diana’s costume, created for her 1981 wedding ceremony to the Prince of Wales, was an iconic creation that can at all times be related to the late princess. It was a time when huge was in, and Diana walked down the aisle of St. Paul’s Cathedral draped in yards of lace with a 25-foot practice flowing behind her.
